• Develop, prepare, and interpret statistical analyses of key business metrics to help support strategic decisions within the business unit • Develop, interpret, and present analysis and proposals to various stakeholder groups to help solve mid to high level business problems in pursuit of company goals • Employ basic statistical techniques to model various underwriting and pricing business practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or other relevant quantitative field of study OR Bachelor’s degree in any field of study plus prior experience • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities • Highly effective communication skills • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel • Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL or other similar languages to extract data • Basic to intermediate proficiency with data analysis software like R, SAS, Python, or Power BI • Ability to work independently given general direction and to thrive in a team environment that is constantly changing • Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities, providing accurate and timely results • Intellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questions • Effective time management, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills • 1 - 2 years of analytical experience in insurance or a similar field required • Previous experience in auto insurance is a plus.
