📋 Description

• Own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for project implementation • Serve as the technical leader/manager to develop scopes of work and schedules, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects • Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, and engineering subcontractors • Execute policies and strategies using technical expertise and knowledge of business drivers • Integrate the team's work with other teams and contribute to the wider area • Propose solutions outside set parameters with guidance • Solve straightforward tasks using prior experience and on-the-job training • Use internal technical sources and analytical thinking to make decisions • Provide informal guidance to new team members • Potentially hire and develop talent as an early people leader

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology and Customer Project Engineering • Knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience, or equivalent experience for roles outside the USA • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in the relevant job family/function for roles in the USA • Strong oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills
