📋 Description

• Provide accurate translation and/or editing of documents and/or transcription of audio files • Edit audio transcriptions that include slang and idioms • Edit legal documents, such as affidavits, depositions, etc. • Excellent written communication skills in English and the target foreign language • Translate and/or transcribe following client’s style guides and quality standards • Use domain-specific terminology • Review and certify other translators’ work quality

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizen willing to undergo a U.S. government background check • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • At least 3 years of experience in translating and/or editing between English and a foreign language • At least 3 years of experience performing audio transcription • Familiar with legal terminology in both English and the target foreign language(s) • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Translators and editors must proficiently use CAT tools like Trados
