📋 Description

• Build, train, and deploy machine learning models and data pipelines using Python, pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn • Design, implement, and improve LLM-powered applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines • Develop agentic AI systems using tool use, multi-step reasoning, and orchestration frameworks • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies • Design and build data visualizations and dashboards for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Diagnose and resolve data and model issues, minimize drift, and improve pipeline efficiency and model accuracy • Enforce best practices in code quality, experiment tracking, and reproducibility • Explore emerging AI/ML technologies, LLM integrations, and agentic tooling • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven insights, models, and analytical solutions • Complete other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Exhibits Great Gray attributes: Growth Mindset, Disciplined Curiosity, Grit, Results Ownership, Collaboration • 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer delivering production-grade models • Proficiency in Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and FastAPI • Strong proficiency in SQL • Experience querying large datasets in Azure or AWS cloud environments • Experience building and deploying ML models and APIs • Familiarity with model serving and monitoring • Must reside in one of Great Gray’s registered states: CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, or VA • Must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer • Preferred: experience with large language models and Azure AI Foundry or AWS Bedrock • Preferred: experience with AI-assisted development workflows using Cursor and Claude • Preferred: hands-on experience with Azure and AWS services, cloud-based ML workflows, and managed AI services
