📋 Description

• Build reusable UI components using React, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and Storybook • Create responsive, accessible, and semantic templates aligned with brand and UX standards • Implement modern build tools and workflows such as Webpack and Vite • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks • Work with Advanced Custom Fields, custom post types, and taxonomies • Integrate WordPress REST API and/or GraphQL for dynamic and headless implementations • Apply WordPress hardening and OWASP Top 10 best practices • Prevent XSS, CSRF, and SQL injection vulnerabilities through secure coding • Optimize Core Web Vitals using caching, code splitting, and image/CDN optimization • Implement clean HTML, heading hierarchy, and crawlable templates • Ensure correct meta tags, canonical tags, robots directives, and XML sitemaps • Support structured data/schema validation using schema.org/JSON-LD • Align technical implementation with accessibility, search, and AI discoverability goals • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers • Use Git-based workflows and contribute to agile/sprint cycles • Document code, architectural decisions, and technical standards for maintainability and scalability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years shipping production WordPress sites end to end • Experience with custom WordPress themes and plugins • Experience creating Gutenberg blocks • Experience building React-based front ends with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and Storybook • Solid PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and CSS3 fundamentals • TypeScript experience is a plus • Understanding of technical SEO/AEO, semantic HTML, structured data, and Core Web Vitals • Understanding of WordPress hardening and OWASP best practices • Comfort with Git-based agile workflows • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent • WooCommerce or other ecommerce platform experience preferred • Next.js, Gatsby, or other headless framework experience preferred • CRM integration experience with Marketo, HubSpot, or Salesforce preferred • Experience with LocalWP, Lando, DevKinsta, or Docker preferred • Resume and cover letter required • Must successfully complete a background check • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship question is included in the application
