• Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures • Collaborate with data stewards, IT teams, and business units to establish governance frameworks and best practices • Monitor and enforce governance policies and regulatory compliance • Conduct data quality assessments and implement data cleansing processes • Identify and address data-related issues, supporting data stewards and business stakeholders • Define organizational data domains and subdomains with business stakeholders • Establish data owners and data stewards across domains and subdomains • Develop and deliver training on data governance policies and best practices • Lead data governance committee meetings and working groups • Maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, data lineage, and other governance documentation • Evaluate and recommend data governance tools and technologies • Report data governance activities, metrics, and compliance status to senior management • Mentor and guide less experienced professional contributors • Manage 2–3 direct reports, including Data Governance Analysts • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, required in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field • A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree • Master's Degree directly related to the position or equivalent preferred • Minimum seven years experience in data governance, data management, or related roles • Experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures • Strong knowledge of data management principles, data quality, data security, and regulatory requirements • Experience with data catalogs, metadata management, and data lineage tools • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Strong leadership and project management skills • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work independently • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications • Ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely workflow decisions • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards • Ability to accurately perceive and interpret visual and audio information • Ability to work Monday–Friday during the business week • Ability to travel 5–10% • Commitment to company values
