📋 Description

• Architect and build the integration layer for Wellhub and gym management systems globally • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve services with focus on performance, scalability, and resilience • Collaborate with the team's Tech Lead and Product Manager to assess feasibility, plan user stories, and prioritize technical work and debt • Contribute to critical services and build long-term, sustainable solutions; often work in pair programming (~50% of development time) • Account for systems reliability, scalability, SLAs and SLOs and participate in incident resolution and production troubleshooting • Support and enhance existing systems to increase scale and transform to meet product demands • Maintain and communicate the project technical vision to the team • Foster a culture of innovation, mentor team members, and conduct regular one-on-ones • Work with cutting-edge technologies and handle global-scale edge cases; balance delivery complexity against opportunity cost

🎯 Requirements

• Experience architecting large-scale multi-tier web applications • Experience designing and developing complex modern web applications and Cloud-based architectures (AWS / GCP) • Experience developing RESTful web services and collaborating with front-end teams on payloads and HTTP best practices • Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis • Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (RabbitMQ, KAFKA, ActiveMQ) — prior experience in async processing using Kafka is a mandatory requirement • Knowledge of DDD, SOLID, design patterns, distributed systems and architecture; ability to anticipate failure modes of microservices • Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB • Management experience: mentoring, facilitating and conducting regular one-on-ones with team members • Proficient in one or more programming languages (Java, Ruby, Go, C++, etc.); Kotlin considered a plus • Communication skills for working with multidisciplinary, multinational teams • Ability to articulate ideas clearly in English • Must be located in Brazil; role open only to candidates in Brazil
