📋 Description

• Lead Headway’s Corporate legal function as it relates to: • Corporate transactions – equity or debt financings, M&A, etc. • Maintaining and updating Management Services / Medical Practice agreements and relationships • Board governance, approvals, and record keeping • Supporting Finance and Accounting teams on legal aspects of audit and tax matters • Intellectual Property and Corporate Insurance • Close partnership with the Procurement and Legal Operations functions to build out corporate and contracting systems and processes

🎯 Requirements

• A deep understanding of corporate work in healthcare, especially within a “friendly PC” model • Meaningful experience in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment • Ability to translate complex topics into clear and actionable advice for non-legal stakeholders • Ability to build relationships and consensus with colleagues amid competing views and priorities • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (ability to register as NY in-house counsel required)
