📋 Description

• Lead all medical records and release of information operations • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, payer requirements, and CARF standards • Design and implement scalable HIM workflows, policies, and tracking systems • Develop reporting metrics to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Clinical Operations, Technology, and Quality teams • Train and support staff on medical records processes, documentation standards, and privacy best practices • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert for health information management and patient access rights

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Health Information Management, Medical Records, Release of Information, Healthcare Compliance, or a related healthcare operations role (5+ years preferred) • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rules and medical records regulations • Experience managing high-volume medical records requests and sensitive documentation • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail • Experience developing workflows, policies, SOPs, and process improvements • Confidence handling complex or legally sensitive requests with sound judgment • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
