📋 Description

• Work with all areas of the business to understand their objectives and how you can aid them in make high quality decisions, fast and consistently. • Develop strong working relationships with leaders in all areas in the business to allow for continuous adaptation to changes in the business. • Develop data oriented solutions in the form of data models and systems that drive immediate business value and are strong enough to last • Troubleshoot complex data issues and guide internal teams toward best practices. Ensure data quality and consistency by investigating discrepancies and improving upstream data processes. • Prioritize projects across multiple departments while maintaining high quality and responsiveness. **** • Contribute to internal tooling, documentation, and knowledge sharing to uplevel the team. Build standards, playbooks, and internal data products that make the analytics function more effective and scalable. • Measure and communicate the business impact of your work with stakeholders. Demonstrate how your models and pipelines drive outcomes like revenue growth, efficiency gains, or improved decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years working as an analytics engineer, data engineer, data scientist or similar • Strong SQL skills and hands on experience working with cloud data warehouses • Hands-on experience building complex data models with dbt • Hands-on experience with Looker or Omni Analytics • Experience designing data models/systems to be used by dozens of users • Ability to differentiate between high vs low business impact activities • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to balance immediate business needs with long term usability • A high level of ownership of their work and is excited for more responsibility • Thinks like a business analyst and executes like a software engineer
