• Oversee and manage full-cycle bookkeeping activities, including reconciliations, journals, and general ledger maintenance. • Prepare and process payroll in line with compliance and reporting requirements. • Generate and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely entries. • Prepare BAS, IAS, and other regulatory submissions as required. • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records. • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency. • Support junior bookkeeping staff and provide guidance as needed.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, ideally at a senior level. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. • Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks. • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. • Effective communication skills and a client-focused, professional approach. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines. • Experience supporting small to medium businesses or multiple client accounts is an advantage.
