• Manage day-to-day supply chain and procurement activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes • Overseeing the contracting process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance • Responsible for departments metrics production and assists with testing new Company systems • Provide regular contract status updates and communications to stakeholders
• 5+ years of contract experience, preferably in the clinical research area • Read, write, and speak fluent English • Ability to draft and execute all contract request types • Negotiate with third-party vendors on legal language in proposed contracts utilizing guidance documentation provided by Legal • Ensure contract terms and budget meet Company’s Standard Operating Procedures, department processes, and financial/legal requirements • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must • Responsible for departments metrics production and assists with testing new Company systems • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Demonstrate leadership abilities • Effective time management skills required • Provide regular contract status updates and communications to stakeholders • Keep Department Tracker up-to-date with current contract status and metrics data • Contribute to development of improvements to department processes and templates • Able to independently draft and execute complex agreements • Triage incoming requests from Company’s internal process systems or the outlook mailbox and disperse/allocate to other team members • Manage inquiries coming to the Department outlook mailbox • Train new or existing Contract Analysts on Company’s systems and different contract types • Lead and/or contribute to special projects
