📋 Description
• Design and deliver photography workshops based on Participatory Photography methodology • Guide participants through photo assignments • Support image editing and selection • Assist in organizing a final exhibition • Deliver training agenda, facilitation plan, and workshop materials • Conduct follow-up sessions to review photos and assist in finalizing photographs • Facilitate interactions and discussions around participants’ stories and photographs • Evaluate the pilot phase and provide recommendations for future iterations
🎯 Requirements
• Proven expertise in photojournalism and climate or environmental photography • Demonstrated experience designing and conducting photography workshops • Familiarity with point-and-shoot camera operations • Understanding of climate change adaptation, NbS, and GESI • Experience working with vulnerable and underrepresented communities • Strong communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda (for Rwanda) • Strong communication skills in English and Amharic (for Ethiopia) • Strong communication skills in English (for South Africa)
