đź“‹ Description

• Analyze hydraulic information including sewer flow data, system schematics, wastewater treatment plant records, rain data, pump station data, real-time data, and other pertinent information • Prepare data and reports for clients • Develop understanding of the analysis process, sensor basics, and typical field monitor installation • Analyze data for calibration, trends, patterns, and outliers using graphical and statistical analysis • Process and prepare data for review and audits following standard processes • Participate in an on-site visit to a flow monitor location with an experienced field crew • Identify data problems and propose solutions to persistent problems • Communicate with field personnel, technicians, co-workers, engineers, and managers in person and remotely • Perform data maintenance functions including backup, archive, restore, combine, and cut • Assist with final report preparation and produce timely, professional results • Contribute to internal and external stakeholder meetings • Complete or assist special projects as required • Travel occasionally to support specific projects

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in an environment- or civil-engineering-related field is preferred; fields emphasizing mathematics or physical sciences are acceptable • A combination of related diploma, relevant work experience, and strong communication skills is acceptable • Understanding of ADS product lines, services, and software is a plus • Familiarity with databases or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is desirable • Professional designation as an engineering or applied science technologist through ASTTBC, ASET, OACETT, or equivalent is an asset • Strong mathematical and analytical reasoning skills • Understanding of hydraulic principles, especially open-channel flow measurement and calculation • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently • Ability to recognize personal limits and proactively seek help • Must be able to complete an on-site visit to a field project • Occasional travel may be required • Position begins part-time at 30 hours/week, with potential to transition to full-time at 40 hours/week
