📋 Description

• Integrate and standardize OpenAI and other AI-related cloud spending into core cost governance frameworks and reporting tools • Design, implement, and maintain automated data pipelines to replace manual processes for cost reporting, forecasting, and alert generation • Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tools to develop and deploy contextual, automated explanations for cost fluctuations • Create and document best practices and guidelines for AI service consumption • Partner with Observability and Cloud Economics teams to implement proof-of-concept tools for team-level budget tracking, alerting, and proactive cost management • Collaborate closely with FinOps, Cloud, and Data teams

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or Data Analytics • 2+ years applying FinOps principles to cloud cost management, reporting or governance • FinOps Certified Practitioner or Professional (mandatory) • Hands-on experience with AWS cost management tools (e.g., Cost Explorer, Apptio, CloudHealth, Kion, or Cloudability) • Strong SQL and data analysis skills • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, automation) • Experience with data pipelines, warehousing, and visualization tools (e.g., Datadog, Snowflake, Stitcher) • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, GCP or Snowflake experience beneficial) • Demonstrated exposure to AI/ML environments • Fluent English for daily communication (B2+ minimum)
