📋 Description

• Effectively managing an assigned inventory of medical professional and general liability claim files • Establishing prompt contact on new losses within 24 hours • Thoroughly evaluating coverage and investigating claims • Litigation management for nationwide programs • Monitoring and adjusting claim reserves • Maintaining active communication with clients and stakeholders • Traveling for mediations, trials, and client meetings

🎯 Requirements

• JD and/or RN preferred • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university • At least seven years of related experience and/or training • High degree of claims handling expertise • At least five years managing medical professional liability cases • Ability to read, analyze and interpret insurance policies and legal documents • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and RMIS software • Appropriate jurisdictional adjuster license required
