• Design, build, and manage API proxies, policies, and endpoints in Apigee Edge / Apigee X. • Implement authentication, authorisation, and traffic management policies (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, caching, etc.). • Define and maintain API lifecycle management practices: versioning, deployment, monitoring, and deprecation. • Collaborate with backend integration teams (Talend, MuleSoft, etc.) to securely expose enterprise data and services. • Contribute to API governance frameworks, ensuring consistency and compliance with enterprise standards. • Support CI/CD automation for API deployment and configuration. • Troubleshoot and optimise API performance and security. • Document solutions and support the creation of developer portals and API catalogues.
• At least 4 years of experience in API management or integration roles. • Proven experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee Hybrid, or Apigee X. • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, and HTTP protocols. • Experience implementing security protocols (OAuth2, SAML, JWT). • Familiarity with GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). • Good grasp of API analytics, logging, and monitoring (Splunk, ELK, or similar). • Knowledge of API design best practices (OpenAPI/Swagger) and developer portal management. • Experience with Talend ESB (or a similar platform), JavaScript, Python, or Java for policy extensions is a significant plus. • German or French Speaker is a good to have. • Fluent in English • Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal.
