• Your role as Junior Consultant will entail working with our clients to support the development and implementation of supply chain and procurement strategies for their projects; • supporting or leading the Tender process for major CAPEX packages; • negotiating and entering into contracts with the suppliers; • supporting the realisation of the project in accordance with the procurement strategy and contract management strategy. • Planning, implementation and execution of procurement and/or tender strategies. • Look to provide maximum value to our clients in terms of quality, price and schedule while minimizing risks; • Lead and perform the complete procurement process including issuing of requests for information, requests for proposals and tenders, evaluating proposals, recommending the award of and finalising contracts; • Ensure that the procurement process is executed according to client policies and procedures, and documented in order to allow transparency and traceability throughout; • Identify all value items and their relationship within the scope of the procurement and set the tender strategy according to a well-defined awarding criteria; • Coordinate the flow of information internally and externally keeping all stakeholders informed on progress; • Support the finalization of the commercial and contractual deal through standard general conditions and/or managing exceptions to those together with legal and the main stakeholders;
• Experience in procurement management, preferably in a project organisation. • Excellent communication skills in English. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to support delivery of your package of works. • Experience in major infrastructure and energy projects is welcomed. • Experience in leading and managing procurement and tender processes. • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. • Structured and methodical way of working. • Ability to project manage processes and lead negotiations.
