📋 Description

• Help clients through their first security audit and inspire them toward greater levels of information security • Evaluate client information security practices • Educate and empower clients to implement effective controls to protect their data • Teach clients about applicable compliance standards, including SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA, HITRUST, GDPR, and ISO • Design effective tests of controls • Understand and interpret how risk affects a wide range of business environments • Perform gap analysis • Provide remediation guidance and communicate necessary changes to clients • Coordinate simultaneous projects at differing stages • Travel to clients as needed, including nationwide travel • Work remotely from home in a virtual office environment

🎯 Requirements

• Hold a current CISSP certification at a minimum • Willingness to travel to clients 40% of the time • A decade or more of technologist experience • Exposure to the information security auditing function, either as a beneficiary of audits or directly as an auditor • Strong technical and interpersonal skills • Ability to evaluate client information security practices • Ability to understand the client perspective and communicate clearly and openly • Passion for teaching clients about compliance standards such as SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA, HITRUST, GDPR, and ISO • Extreme level of integrity • Unparalleled professionalism in conduct and appearance • Skill in designing effective tests of controls • Ability to understand and interpret how risk affects diverse business environments • Gap analysis experience • Ability to combine remediation guidance with interpersonal skill and understanding of necessary client changes • Ability to coordinate simultaneous projects at differing stages • Efficient with technology and keyboards • Willingness to travel nationwide • Must detest a daily commute to an office • Virtual office experience is a must • CISA, QSA, CRISC, and GIAC certifications are additional qualifications
