📋 Description

• Ensure a safe working environment by strictly adhering to safety rules and procedures • Develop and implement a comprehensive packaging strategy that meets the needs of Operations, Shipping, Warehousing, and Customers • Partner with Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing, Product Development, and Operations teams • Create clear, efficient cold-end procedures and work instructions • Collaborate with manufacturing sites, corporate teams, external suppliers, and customers • Understand the Voice of the Customer (VOC) • Work with Corporate Engineering, KIE, and plant engineering teams • Stay informed on the latest advancements in automation technology • Provide actionable recommendations for plant and product enhancements • Deliver training and create standard operating procedures for new or upgraded packaging equipment • Continuously improve the performance of automated packaging equipment • Take the lead or actively participate in plant trials for new products • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Kaizen • Ensure a sustainable workforce and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in packaging equipment design and automation • Experience in project management and continuous improvement • Ability to travel 35% of the time • Computer skills in MS Windows environment; Moderate skills with Word, PowerPoint and Excel
