📋 Description

• Develop and execute subcontract strategies aligned with program and organizational objectives • Manage procurement risks and ensure compliance with procurement policies • Lead negotiations to establish subcontract agreements with favorable terms and conditions • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle and ensure adherence to agreed terms • Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance using defined metrics • Conduct regular reviews and audits of subcontractors • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and program management teams • Identify subcontracting risks and implement mitigation strategies • Manage multiple Government procurements supporting multiple Government Programs • Explain and communicate policies, procedures, and practices to internal and external customers • Provide guidance and assistance to other employees • Travel to supplier site locations 25% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience • Alternatively, Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related subcontracts experience • Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly, and ATP processes • Ability to interpret program management, engineering, and supplier demands in a continuously changing environment with minimal guidance • Working capability with MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word • Experience supporting supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance • Ability to travel 25% to supplier site locations
