📋 Description

• Join Mexico expansion team to build a new mobile finance product for international growth • Work in a small cross-functional product team with a startup mindset • Build initial product offering for new market and guide MVP requirements with product stakeholders • Collaborate with frontend engineers to guide and agree API behaviours and expectations through documented contracts • Build using PHP 8, Symfony, AWS, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes; use Datadog, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Behat, PHPUnit • Take ownership across a broad remit and make decisions driving material impact • Collaborate with other product teams to reuse learnings and align approaches

🎯 Requirements

• Strong, business oriented, engineer with modern PHP development experience (PHP 8.0+ is a must) • Solid grasp of a modern PHP framework like Symfony or Laravel • Experience with Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems, and Event Sourcing is a significant plus • Familiarity with microservices architecture and working on financial systems is a bonus • Excellent automated testing skills (unit, integration, functional) • Experience experimenting with AI tooling to accelerate productivity • A genuine desire to learn, collaborate, and contribute ideas within a highly collaborative team • High degree of ownership and autonomy • Experience in a cross-functional environment is a plus • Written or spoken Spanish at intermediate (B2) level or above would make you stand out, but is not essential
