📋 Description

• Improve the delivery of services to the client by observing and reporting on performance and experience from an on-site-user perspective • Provide the Operations team with local insight regarding unique customer needs and doing business with local vendors • Represent SMS in Fire/Life Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, and Disaster Recovery matters to mitigate costs • Provide administrative in-person support, including interacting with municipal offices and code inspections • Ensure effective resolution of facilities issues through local engagement prior to client escalation • Demonstrate and increase adoption of SMS technology solutions to customers and vendors • Build and maintain professional client relationships and implement operational solutions • Manage service delivery to sites without permanent client employees (vacant sites, off-premise ATMs) • Monitor third-party vendor work and represent SMS in project acceptance into the Facilities portfolio • Perform non-maintenance facilities management tasks as approved • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled quality assurance visits • Develop business relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality service and pricing • Communicate findings and recommendations based on client data with actionable conclusions • Facilitate information flow among customers, affiliates, and the SMS Operations team • Foster a positive team environment and provide coaching or mentoring as needed • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of internal and external data • Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned • Travel up to 60% within assigned geographic area

🎯 Requirements

• Possesses specific knowledge of facilities management and general knowledge of building maintenance trades • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, maintenance management, or building maintenance trades • This position is remote and requires up to 60% travel within the assigned geographic area • Ability to represent the company in matters related to Fire/Life Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Disaster Recovery • Ability to provide administrative in-person support (municipal offices, code inspections) • Experience managing vendor relationships and conducting quality assurance visits
