📋 Description

• Configure database servers • Monitor and maintain system health and security • Design backup processes for server and associated data • Create accounts for all users and assign security levels • Establish a disaster recovery protocol • Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution • Schedule and perform regular server maintenance • Create database management procedures • Create and maintain database replication schemas • Evaluate data analysis models and procedures • Participate in company’s cross-training program • Participation in the elimination of abnormal situations in the work of database servers • Look to the future big data strategy and provide input and development towards the big data company strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Database Administration for MS SQL Server 2019+; **medium+ experience of DBA with PostgreSQL, basic - MySQL • Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems (database integrity, performance, blocking and deadlocking, replication, log shipping, connectivity, security, etc.) • Experience in optimization and resolving performance issues • Experience with backups, restore- and recovery models • Experience in automation using PowerShell • Experience in monitoring tools: Zabbix, Victoria Metrics, Grafana • Infrastructure capacity planning for DB • **Additional Skills Preferred** • Experience with script writing (Bash, Python) • Experience with version control systems (Git) • Administration and configuration of IIS • Experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS • Experience in DB migrations from on-prem infrastructure to cloud, cloud-to-cloud, DC-to-DC • Power BI Server • Worked with Kafka or other messaging platforms
