• Oversee multiple design and construction projects across various phases, including building renovations, expansions, common‑area upgrades, and tenant improvement projects. • Manage and coordinate activities of third‑party architectural and engineering consultants, medical equipment planners, specialty consultants, and contractors. • Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors, consultants, and A/E teams in partnership with Legal, with final approval from the VP – Design & Construction. • Maintain expertise in applicable building codes, permitting requirements, healthcare design standards, and Lillibridge design guidelines. • Coordinate design and construction documents, serving as liaison with tenants, property management, and leasing teams to obtain design approvals. • Lead contractor bidding, permitting, and construction oversight, including RFIs, payment application review, cost changes, and progress documentation. • Lead interior finish selection and approval processes with internal teams and tenants. • Manage project close‑out activities including punchlists, tenant and property management walkthroughs, and turnover documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related environmental design field; advanced degree in healthcare design preferred. • Registered Architect, Interior Designer, or similar professional designation. • Maintain registration meeting continuing education requirements of the licensing authority. • 5+ years of experience in healthcare design and construction documentation, with strong familiarity in healthcare environments. • Skilled in construction management with demonstrated strengths in problem‑solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution. • Proven ability to manage design integrity while delivering projects within approved budgets and schedules. • Proficient in Revit or other BIM/visualization platforms. • Ability to travel up to 50%, including multi‑day trips across multiple cities. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
