Lumidas is on a mission to reduce the barrier to adoption of fiber optic sensing technologies for geotechnical monitoring of critical infrastructure. We provide specialized expertise in emerging fiber optic sensing technologies (distributed acoustic sensing), passive seismic monitoring techniques, alongside conventional geotechnical monitoring methods. We pride ourselves in our multidisciplinary approach to create innovative solutions to geotechnical problems. Lumidas is a registered permit to practice holder with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). We partner with select consultants to provide quality review of professional engineering deliverables for our clients.

📋 Description

• Support two time-sensitive AI pilots connected to learning programs • Provide strategic AI guidance and hands-on implementation support • Help design, build, deploy, test, support, and evaluate AI-enabled learning tools • Balance advisory support with hands-on execution

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in designing, building, and troubleshooting AI-enabled tools • Expertise in deploying AI tools in learning, nonprofit, workforce development, or other non-technical user environments • Knowledge of Responsible AI, privacy, data governance, bias mitigation, transparency, and safe use of AI • Ability to assess technical feasibility, timelines, costs, risks, and compliance needs • Skills in creating project plans, documentation, onboarding materials, and evaluation approaches • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
