📋 Description

• Provide personal financial counseling services at assigned military installations • Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences • Develop and make available informational financial materials to service members and families • Coordinate, publicize and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops • Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars • Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication • Manage duty to warn situations according to Department of Defense (DoD) protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Associate degree plus 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree may be considered • High school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree may be considered • 5+ years of financial counseling experience • Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract • Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation • Must pass Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) • One of the following certifications required: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
