📋 Description
• Provide executive-level technical oversight across Makwa Global’s IT, cybersecurity, engineering, and technology solutioning portfolio • Partner with executive leadership to define and implement enterprise-wide technical strategies • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients, program managers, and internal leadership on complex technical issues • Lead the technical solutioning process for capture and proposal development; develop technical volumes, solution architectures, and oral presentations for federal proposals • Provide technical guidance and executive-level support to program teams across contracts; ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CMMC requirements • Oversee engineering practices and methodologies, driving continuous improvement and standardization • Identify and implement emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation, cloud, digital engineering, cybersecurity) into client and internal solutions • Lead and mentor engineering, solutioning, and technical professionals; support workforce development, training, and certification opportunities
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field required; Master’s degree preferred • 12+ years of progressive experience in IT, engineering, or solution architecture • At least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role • Strong background in solutioning and program delivery for federal government contracts (DoD, DoS, DHS, or other agencies) • Experience leading proposals and solution design for competitive procurements • Deep expertise in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation, cloud, digital engineering) • Strong knowledge of federal proposal processes (Shipley or similar) and compliance frameworks (FAR, DFARS, CMMC, NIST) • Exceptional communication and executive presence • Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
