📋 Description

• Contact assigned patients the day before scheduled appointments to confirm reminders, preparation instructions, financial obligations, and last-minute issues • Review and enter external orders received by fax into the electronic medical record system • Communicate order-related issues to ordering providers • Support timely processing of electronic diagnostic-service requests • Communicate with patients and providers to ensure orders meet carrier and radiologist guidelines • Provide high-quality customer service to patients, physicians’ office staff, co-workers, and payers • Assist co-workers during peak workloads and short staffing

🎯 Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent required • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office Products and basic computer skills required • Basic medical terminology required, or course completion within first year • Type 30 CWPM • Superior customer service, oral, written, and listening skills • Good organizational skills and flexibility • Ability to work under pressure and stay within time constraints • Ability to work as a team player
