📋 Description

• Data mining using state of the art methods • Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques • Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed • Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems • Processing, cleansing and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner • Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance • Driving innovation for the retail bank in the area of data science

🎯 Requirements

• Overall 8+ years of experience in advanced analytics / data science • Hands on experience in machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as ANN, SVM, Random Forest, Naïve Bayes etc • Experience with common data science toolkits like Python, R & SAS • Prior experience in advanced analytics solutions in the sphere of unstructured data (text, pictures, video etc) • Proficiency with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase etc • Proficiency in using query languages such as Hive, Pig & SQL • Prior experience with Bigdata platform (Hadoop) • Exposure to Bigdata architecture is preferred • Understanding of RBG unsecured products • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regressing etc • Good scripting and programming skills • Good mentoring and performance management skills • Strong verbal and pictorial presentation skills preferred • Experience in retail banking is preferred
