📋 Description
• Prepare, review, and finalize complex packaging artwork files (e.g., cartons, labels, flexible packaging, rigid boxes) for various print methods (e.g., flexography, lithography, digital, gravure) • Perform essential pre-press tasks including: Color Separation & Management: Accurate color separation, spot color conversion, trapping, overprinting, and color correction to match proofs and brand standards • File Preparation: Ensure all fonts are outlined, links are embedded, and files are clean and press ready • Dieline Integration: Work precisely with supplied dielines, cutters, and structural designs to ensure artwork fits perfectly • Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on all files to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies before release to print • Apply printer specifications and substrate requirements accurately • Troubleshoot artwork and pre-press issues efficiently, providing technical guidance and solutions
🎯 Requirements
• Extensive experience with digital artwork in a packaging context preferably in a fast-paced studio • Expert level digital artwork assembly skills required in both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • An understanding of print processes for packaging • Comfortable working in a macOS environment and adept at using collaborative tools (Outlook, Teams) • Excellent communication, organizational, and math skills • Highly organized and accountable, able to manage multiple concurrent deadlines with minimal supervision • Flexible approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced studio handling high volumes to tight deadlines
