• Act as the primary resource for your team members in determining direction and procedures for complex claims by providing information, answering questions and requests. • Communicate with different stakeholders in order to effectively manage relationships. • Contribute to department strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service and operations information; identify and evaluate trends and opportunities and define objectives and evaluate outcomes. • Demonstrate strong analysis and resolve quality and client service problems and identify trends while seeking out operational efficiencies. • Build a stable team through recruiting qualified talent, training employees and providing guidance in career development. • Contribute to the organization’s effectiveness by offering information and opinions at Team Leader meetings and building and maintaining inter- and intradepartmental relationships.
• Post-secondary education in business, medical or rehabilitation management. • Two years or more of people management combined with two to three years of direct work experience in Life and Disability insurance. • Insurance designation (LOMA or other) will be considered an asset. • Bilingualism in French and English is required. • English proficiency is required to perform the duties of the role, which include daily collaboration with teams and partners outside Québec who operate primarily in English.
