📋 Description

• Assist with preparing federal and multi-state individuals and trust income tax returns. • Learn and effectively utilize Lacerte tax preparation software to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance the quality of service to clients. • Prepare and format excel spreadsheets for trust accounting. • Review documents and tax returns for accuracy • Perform tax technical research assigned by supervisors. • Coordinate and communicate with tax advisors, managers, and other team members to perform job functions. • Administrative tasks (filing, phone calls, etc.) • Other various assigned projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or related field • Knowledge of tax laws and concepts • Active PTIN • Familiarity with Form 1040 and/or Form 1041 • Strong technical skills • Attention to detail and ability to take initiative to meet deadlines • Strong communications skills (written/verbal) and professionalism • Ability to work independently and remain flexible as priorities change • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented • Able to navigate a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
