📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • Our client is a UK-headquartered company specializing in the manufacture of toys across Asia. • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of soft toy development and production. • This includes ensuring product design, materials, and manufacturing processes align with quality, safety, and compliance standards. • The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams such as design, production, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality soft toys. • Location: Indonesia - with remote-based. • Reporting to: Production Director.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the toy/textile/footwear industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. • Strong knowledge of toy manufacturing processes, including pattern making, sewing, and assembly. • Familiarity with international safety standards for toys (e.g., EN71, ASTM F963). • Proficiency in CAD software for toy design and technical specifications (preferred). • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
