📋 Description

• The Controller is a key player in the accounting department • Responsible for month-end closing, inter-departmental information flow • Internal and external finance reporting support • Developing and complying with accounting procedures and internal controls • Lead the overall month close process and oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards • Manage banking relationships/cash management • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting and AP team • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting • Implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls • Assist with the development of annual and monthly financial budgets and forecasts • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making • Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements • Oversee financial and operational systems including integration and upgrades • Serve as primary contact for internal and external parties around financial metrics and reporting • Interface with external auditors to support and internally lead annual audit process • Interface with external tax consultants to assist with tax preparation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar disciplines • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a minimum of 2yrs in health care setting • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) • Intermediate to advanced excel experience • Ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions, and business outcomes • 2+ years of leadership and team management experience (preferred) • Experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)
