📋 Description

• Mentor junior developers and provide coaching to help them grow professionally. • Lead software architecture decisions for AI, AI Agents, distributed systems, APIs, and AI-native architectures. • Engage with open source communities to cultivate relationships and champion adoption of Agensys software. • Collaborate with internal development teams to integrate open source contributions into products and services. • Maintain code quality standards, including testing, documentation, and long-term maintainability. • Shape the direction of the Agensys project and contribute to development and design of agentic infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software development with significant experience in Python, Golang, and/or Rust. • Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. • Experience and understanding of how to leverage AI-powered co-development tools such as Cursor IDE, Claude Code, Cline, Aider.Chat or similar. • Strong understanding of open source best practices, including code quality, testing, and documentation. • Deep understanding of scale-out AI-native architectures (parallel computing, event-based distributed systems, GPU clusters, agentic workflows). • Deep experience with all forms of APIs. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying, managing, and scaling microservices. • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes API architecture and resource model. • Expertise with Cluster API for provisioning and operating multiple Kubernetes clusters. • Familiarity with CNI plugins (OpenSDN/Tungsten Fabric/Contrail, Calico, Cilium) and CSI drivers, particularly Ceph. • Experience with telemetry, monitoring, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana). • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills. • Participation in open source projects as a contributor or maintainer (highly desirable). • Experience developing Kubernetes operators and leveraging Kubernetes client libraries (highly desirable). • Comprehensive understanding of AI infrastructure components (inference systems, Agentic workflows, autonomous AI agents, Model Context Protocol, serverless AI functions) (highly desirable). • Polyglot programming ability with little or no bias for specific languages.
