📋 Description

• Process vendor invoices, payment runs, and EFT uploads accurately and on schedule • Maintain vendor records and banking details — apply payment controls on every transaction • Flag anomalies before processing, not after — vendor payment controls are a first-principles responsibility • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts — daily and month-end • Coordinate with vendors on payment queries and discrepancies • Post fund accounting entries • Support monthly reconciliations for wealth management accounts • Support IFRS-compliant entries for fund structures under the guidance of the Finance Manager • Prepare audit-ready supporting schedules for fund and corporate audit cycles • Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation • Complete assigned close checklist items on schedule, every month • Document processes as you learn them — if it isn’t written down, it doesn’t exist • Identify inefficiencies and bring proposed solutions, not just observations • Support audit preparation — schedules, documentation, auditor queries

🎯 Requirements

• BCom or BBA with an accounting major or equivalent • CPA PEP eligible — confirm academic prerequisites before applying • Motivated to complete the CPA designation — this is a condition of the role • AP or month-end close exposure from co-op or work experience (Assets) • NetSuite experience (Assets) • Exposure to fund accounting, financial services, or public company environments (Assets) • Intermediate to advanced Excel (Assets)
