📋 Description

• Communicate application status and request additional documentation when needed. • Make timely and accurate credit decisions based on policy guidelines. • Validate documents authenticity and identify suspicious behavior and or trends. • Create underwriting policies and procedures • Perform financial analysis and compile underwriting memos. • Set customer expectations and answer questions during the onboarding process. • Closely collaborate with Sales, product and operations to deliver a world class customer experience

🎯 Requirements

• Bilingual in English and French • 4+ years underwriting in financial services, high-growth payments, or fintech. • Highly analytical, collaborative, and independent problem-solver. • Strong organization, time management and communication skills • Knowledge of financial risk assessment principles and the Canadian compliance, lending, and regulatory landscape. • Possesses expertise in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. • Demonstrated experience in bank-based and financial underwriting. • Self motivated, organized, and reliable, with proven expertise in mathematics and financial spreading.
