📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • mDoc is a digital health social enterprise that leverages behavioral science, technology, and quality improvement methodologies to improve access to quality healthcare for individuals with chronic health needs. • Our mission is to transform how healthcare consumers in Africa receive the support they need to live longer, healthier, and more productive lives. • Join us to design impactful, user-centered solutions that empower healthcare providers and consumers to navigate their health journeys effectively. • The Product Designer / UI/UX Specialist will be responsible for crafting intuitive and visually engaging designs that enhance user experiences across mDoc’s digital platforms. • This role combines user-centered design principles with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows to create innovative solutions. • The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design seamless and accessible digital experiences that meet the needs of our diverse user base.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields (or equivalent work experience). • 3–5 years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or a similar role. • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms. • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards. • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with developers. • Experience designing for healthcare or health tech products is a plus. • Strong communication and storytelling skills to present design concepts and solutions effectively. • Knowledge of design systems and style guides for creating scalable digital experiences.
