📋 Description

• Function as a subject matter expert working on NEI's most complex projects for a specific client • Guide client through the process of electrifying existing industrial oil & gas processes • Perform review of detailed electrical design and engineering for all aspects of electric power systems of oil & gas equipment • Review submittals for conformance with specifications and design • Assist with creation and enforcement of technical standards across the department • Prepare hand and computer-based calculations and models for structural designs • Perform field inspection and construction supervision services • Check the work of designers, drafters, and field service personnel for overall quality and accuracy as required • Maintain strong understanding and comprehension of applicable Codes and Standards • Attend conferences, training workshops, seminars, undergraduate, and graduate classes as appropriate for advancement • Attend safety training and follow safety rules and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution • 7+ years of relevant engineering or field experience • PE is required • Experience with oil & gas or strong power systems experience • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite • Possesses effective written and oral communications skills • Good interpersonal and people skills • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
