📋 Description

• Develop the scalable portion of nesto’s platform • Collaborate with Front-End developers and the data team to build data services • Write modular, maintainable code with a strong emphasis on clean code principles • Apply solid technical skills in design, coding, testing, and debugging • Investigate and resolve hard-to-reproduce bugs, determine failure conditions, and perform initial testing of new features • Continuously learn about the system and technologies and apply new knowledge to improve your work

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field • 5+ years of professional software development experience (we welcome applicants of all gender identities) • Professional experience with Go, Python, Node.js, or C# • Passionate about building an application that users will love and use • Eager to learn and share knowledge (we welcome applicants of all gender identities) • Excellent communicator, able to explain technical concepts to multiple stakeholders • Enjoy working in a team and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds • Detail-oriented and deliberate about long-term system thinking • Bilingualism is an asset. Proficiency in English is required for this role, as the person will work and collaborate with teams outside Quebec.
