📋 Description

• Provide Systems engineering support for T-AO 187 Class Vessels • Provide support to shipboard engineering systems • Work with stakeholders • Use, maintain, and improve document authoring and drafting practices and tools to develop reports, manuals, and drawings with high efficiency and accuracy • Lead team to carry out Outyear Engineering Requirements for various class of ships including the T-AO 187 Double Hull Class • Design and develop interfaces between ship systems and new equipment • Author and develop design reports to accompany in-service modifications to ship systems • Develop advanced proficiency in 2D drafting practices to improve in-service modification

🎯 Requirements

• BSME in Marine Engineering • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience aboard a T-AO 187 Class Oiler • Experience with government contracts and in-service ship repair and ship new construction for DOD Vessels • Project Management skills • Ability to write concise reports and specifications in English with minimal oversight in MS Word • Extensive experience in ship design, modification, or maintenance projects • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to work alone on individual projects with minimal supervision and with other Engineering Disciplines on a team • Ability to interface with team members, technical leads, and Project Managers • Ability to review and apply US Navy and/or US commercial ship design requirements
