📋 Description

• Support duties and functions to design, architect, implement and sustain network capabilities supporting DLA Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Provide comprehensive technical support, installation, configuration, monitoring, security, patching, vulnerability mitigation, and administration of network solutions using vendor “best practices”. • Responsible for designing and securing scalable network architectures within GCP, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and implementing hybrid connectivity. • Works independently, or under only general direction, on requirements that are moderately complex to analyze, plan, program, and implement. • Analyzes and designs voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services. • Analyzes and develops telecommunications networks supporting a wide range of capabilities, including voice, data, video, and/or wireless services.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance required. • IA Level: IAT II 8570.01-M Baseline Certification: CISCO Certified Network Associate required. • Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, electronics, or systems engineering, with at least one year of experience in that field, OR an associate degree in electrical, electronics, or systems engineering with at least eight (8) years of experience, of which four years must be related to telecommunications systems/network. • One of the following Google Cloud Platform or certifications: Google Associate Cloud Engineer OR Google Professional Cloud Architect. • Three (3) years hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions. • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. • Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services.
