📋 Description

• Guiding and working with your team to build and deliver the Technical Strategy and the Product Roadmap. • Partnering with product managers, product designers, developers, and other stakeholders across the company to assess business needs and translate them into technological solutions, plans, and priorities. • Hands-on with coding, architecture, best practices, appropriate tools and technologies. We are currently using Python/Django or Ruby/Ruby on Rails in the backend, and TypeScript/React in the frontend. • Contributing towards building a positive team culture and proactively identifying opportunities and action plans. • Monitoring and improving team health and performance. • Managing and mentoring the software engineers of your team, providing guidance, professional coaching, and professional development. • Overseeing the hiring activities for growing talent in your team.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience managing a team of software engineers. • Experience with distributed systems and building modern, scalable web applications. • Strong backend engineering experience with backend languages and frameworks such as Python/Django or Ruby on Rails, designing and consuming web APIs. • Expertise in modern frontend development, especially with React and TypeScript. • Experience with observability - familiar with tools and techniques for monitoring performance, logging, alerting, and debugging issues in production environments. • A passion for code quality, best practices, and technical documentation. • Experience with database systems, relational and non-relational. • Experience with agile development methodologies with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. • Incredible attention to detail, and a deep care for the product experience and clinical safety. • Effective Direction and communication skills, with a proven ability to direct and inspire teams. • A desire to continuously improve systems, processes, and people in pursuit of excellence.
