📋 Description

• A Senior Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of product is delivered. • This role primarily focuses on building testing strategies and frameworks to improve coverage and rapid regression testing including designing test plans, bug reporting and tools development. • Review product specifications and technical design documents to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. • Working independently, estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities with different teams. • Capable to work in a fast-paced Agile environment. • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using any open source tools such as Cucumber and Mocha. • Identify and document defects using Jira, Asana or similar tools. • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved and prior to releases. • Continuously identify risks and solutions to improve team process and product quality. • Help define standards and best practices for testing and automation. • Thrive in a startup environment who can adopt new technologies with minimal guidance and capable to work independently. • Passionate about solving difficult technical problems and building quality products.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance or relevant experience is required • Experience with QA techniques including black box, white box approaches for smoke, regression, functional, user acceptance testing • Familiarity or experience working with automation • Extensive knowledge in API testing and web testing • Excellent troubleshooting skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Thrives in a fast-paced IT environment • Must be a self-starter able to take initiative and collaborate on a distributed team • Outstanding time management and prioritization • Knowledge of Jira, Git, GitHub and other debugging tools • JavaScript experience is preferred
