• Support post-award financial management, closeout operations, amendment processing, and regulatory compliance across the agency's grant portfolio • Complete detailed financial analyses for grant closeouts and amendments • Prepare executive and operational financial summary reports for the Grants Management Officer (GMO) • Reconcile grant invoicing, drawdowns, and payment history • Analyze reconciliations to determine unliquidated obligation (ULO) balances and exact de-obligation amounts • Manage administrative workflows for grant closeouts and amendments throughout the active period of performance • Coordinate with grantees, CORs/AORs, and government representatives to finalize technical and administrative closeout actions • Maintain real-time status tracking in internal databases and spreadsheets • Ensure adherence to OMB circulars, 2 CFR 200 Subpart E, 2 CFR 200.344, and agency-specific grant policies • Review grant files for missing documentation and notify the GMO of corrective actions • Prepare comprehensive closeout packages and individual grant closeout reports • Use GrantSolutions to receive, process, review, and finalize grant amendment packages
• Must be a U.S. Citizen • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a closely related discipline desired • 5+ years of directly relevant experience in federal grants administration, financial management, post-award management, or federal grant/contract closeout operations • Strong working knowledge of 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance), 2 CFR 200.344 (Closeout), OMB circulars, and federal grant administration principles • Experience using or familiarity with GrantSolutions preferred, or similar federal financial/acquisition platforms such as STAQS, PRISM, Phoenix, or Grant.gov • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, formulas, and pivot tables • Experience with tracking databases for financial reconciliation • Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a Public Trust / Moderate Risk Security Clearance, including credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency checks • Remote role based out of the Washington, DC Metro area with infrequent local client interaction at agency HQ as required
