• Develop and implement departmental strategies to support organizational growth, process efficiency, and team development • Oversee the integration of newly acquired agencies, ensuring timely migration of books of business in compliance with carrier requirements • Manage all aspects of agent and agency licensing, including application submission, renewals, compliance monitoring, and issue resolution • Establish, document, and maintain standardized processes and service level agreements (SLAs) for all teams • Maximize the use of technology platforms (e.g., AgentSync), implement best practices and align with industry standards • Oversee and manage the team’s ticketing system (Freshdesk) • Build and nurture relationships with key insurance carriers and technology vendors • Monitor carrier, state, and legal requirements related to licensing and onboarding to ensure full compliance • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Compliance, IT, Finance, and M&A) to align processes and resolve escalated issues • Lead, mentor, and support agency onboarding, carrier portal, and licensing teams
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry, with at least 3 years in a management role • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional and remote/offshore teams • Expertise in insurance licensing, carrier contracting, compliance, and agency onboarding • Demonstrated ability to develop and track KPIs, drive process improvements, and manage complex projects • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and industry platforms such as AgentSync • Experience with Freshdesk preferred • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Strong business acumen and attention to detail • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
