📋 Description

• Develop and enhance forecasting models for site randomization and enrollment trends to support planning and resource allocation across trial sites • Build algorithms that match patients to, or rank patients for, appropriate clinical trials • Create and refine Bayesian, regression, time-series, and other predictive models for clinical trial challenges • Monitor production machine-learning models for bias and performance drift • Build and optimize data pipelines and analytical workflows using AWS Athena, Redshift, SageMaker, and dbt • Ensure data science practices align with HIPAA, GDPR, and other privacy regulations • Collaborate with machine learning engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate models into products and communicate insights and recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on data science or analytics experience, preferably in healthcare, clinical research, or another highly regulated data environment • Strong statistical modeling and machine-learning expertise, including Bayesian methods, regression analysis, and time-series forecasting • Proficiency evaluating model performance and bias and implementing AI monitoring and bias-mitigation strategies • Advanced Python programming skills, including scikit-learn, PyMC, and mlforecast, and advanced SQL skills • Familiarity with dbt • Hands-on experience with AWS Athena, Redshift, and SageMaker • Experience handling sensitive healthcare or clinical-trial data under HIPAA and GDPR • Excellent teamwork and verbal/written communication abilities • Understanding of clinical research or health-tech environments is highly valuable • Must comply with organizational security and privacy policies as a condition of employment • OneStudyTeam is unable to sponsor work visas at this time
