📋 Description

• OpenSpace develops cutting-edge software that enables builders to effortlessly capture, visualize, and understand their job sites. • You will contribute to active software development while also shaping team culture, establishing processes, and mentoring future hires. • Establish effective collaboration with US-based engineering and product teams. • Take ownership of key projects and proactively drive them to completion. • Rapidly learn and integrate with new software APIs. • Communicate clearly in English through both verbal discussions and written documentation. • Develop robust, scalable software with attention to performance, security, privacy, and fault tolerance. • Efficiently debug complex systems and troubleshoot production issues. • Provide accurate estimates, manage priorities, and deliver on deadlines.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience. • Proven experience designing and implementing APIs, especially REST APIs. • Strong programming skills in Java and/or Kotlin. • Proficiency in relational data modeling with PostgreSQL and seamless backend API integration. • Practical experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS. • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. • Experience working in international, distributed teams, particularly with US-based colleagues.

• No employee benefits (paid leave, sick leave, health insurance, pension contributions) are provided by OpenSpace; all such obligations rest with the contractor. • The contractor is responsible for their own tax, social security (ZUS), and other statutory contributions in Poland. • Compensation will be paid based on monthly invoices, with standard payment terms (Net 30).
