📋 Description

•Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies and procedures. •Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements •Assist with the assessment and implementation of new accounting pronouncements •Evaluate financial policies and procedures and suggest process improvements •Assist with coordination of external audits, quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditors •Research relevant accounting guidance issued by FASB or the SEC, determining and documenting the appropriate technical accounting and reporting treatment •Monitor changes to the company’s business processes, ensuring internal controls are implemented and being performed as established •Completes ad-hoc accounting and reporting related projects as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance •CPA or in the process of obtaining a license •4+ years of experience in accounting and/or public accounting •Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting •High attention to detail •Proven track record for driving process efficiencies and solving problems •Solid analytical and problem-solving skills •Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and drive them to completion •Team player with a strong work ethic •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel functionality, including pivot tables, v-lookups and other
